Each statement I have drawn onto attempts to highlight certain inequalities which are either mainstream within the media or rarely reported and often hidden. From victim blaming by the media itself, to abuse and sexual assault in UK and USA immigration centres and the rape of men in the Congo. All of which I feel are contributing in constructing arbitrary notions of gender in damaging ways.
